Meet Anna Judite Vegtel, a passionate and determined individual who obtained a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. Before embarking on her academic journey at SCAD, Anna showcased her creative side as a wardrobe assistant for TNA Impact Wrestling; in this role, she meticulously crafted attire for wrestlers, and she also made and designed costumes for school musicals and plays. Since graduating, she has ventured out into the world of film and television, lending talent as a costume designer and supervisor, bringing characters to life on and off screen!

Work History

Costume Designer

April 2015 - PRESENT

  • Creating storyboards to bring characters to life, ensuring clear communication on budget and how the director would like these characters portrayed.

  • Researching time periods or ways to effectively bring these characters to become real people and not just words on a page.

Costume Supervisor: IATSE 480

  • Effectively leading a team to have a successful shoot.

  • Keeping a tight budget and clear communication with the designer and producers to ensure we are exactly where we need to be with spending.

  • Sewing and embellishing wrestling gear for talent;

  • Being fluid with my work to meet the deadline for the live tapings.

  • Working under a tight schedule to ensure all pieces were finished by showtime.
